Just came back from vacation and was out of touch for first week. My main holding came out with a pre-announcement of less than expected earnings and a large short (for me) position was squeezed and I eventually got a margin call so yes being out of contact does get to you, but I have survived it feeling it was a good vacation, and an interesting lesson in investing.

You betcha...hands begin shaking and sweat beads begin forming
when market opens and I'm not there...in fact, have given serious
thought to quitting job to become a Daytrader...Perhap's will do
so when I become a better trader, but for now, I figure I better
keep my day job.
