Geoff, This is a reiteration of the federal appeals court ruling previously that dismissed state claims of a class for medical expenses. The court ruled that the state must file a separate case for each claim rather than a class action. Most states will abandon the effort because if the former "class" had 10,000 people the ruling says now that 10,000 individual suits must be filed.
