My reaction to the 2 formats is similar to yours.

OATS appears to have a much stronger health foods and supplement orientation than WFMI. WFMI with its' big box image appears more conventional and offers a comfortable alternative to traditional supermarket chains.

Unfortunately, I sold WFMI in 1996 before the big run-up. I have been watching Wild Oats for a possible entry near 20. The only food retailer I have right now is Fred Meyer (FMY).
