Diversification: Ken, it isn't necessarily all that good, either. (Note: this poster was evidently betting on certain stocks to decline, and we don't know what kind of due diligence he did. Although I wouldn't normally post someone's woes publicly, it worries me to see so many new investors trying to get rich yesterday without understanding that increased opportunity always* tangos with increased risk!) ... While at the doctors getting scans to assess my health, I took more than a 50K unexpected hit while under the instruments for an afternoon and out of contact. Since then, although I was in 7 unrelated sectors which have amazingly in concert worked against me-basic diversification, but unsuccessful*. I have been so badly battered by all this in the last two weeks, I am close to being manipulated to death, and on a forced run of horrendous liquidations. ...
