Dear Jane: I hope you do not mind me posting this on your thread but I feel an unsaved person may happen by here and I wish they would read this post from me. I will title it: Running to a Silent Cry Running to a silent cry-- many times an unsaved person, and there are some reading this message, wonder what is wrong with me, there is something missing, so really I am speaking to the unsaved right now. I have witnessed to the unsaved for 30 years. Many feel that something is missing but they do not have an unbearable sense of being a sinful person, in fact many feel they are OK, a good guy or gal, friendly, popular, successful, they feel they have a little "work" to do on their life, cut down on this or that, get their life in order, get a grip, learn to control themselves a little better, find a good man or woman, get married, go back to school, open a business ect. and then everything will be OK. I am here to tell you right now -- everything will not be OK. To obtain salvation requires a person to "repent", which simply stated and I could say it in a million ways-- here are a few. 1. not my way but God's way. 2. Lord I realize I need you. 3. I have sinned against God's laws. ( All have sinned ) 4. I have messed up so Lord I give up on myself, I will do it your way. 5. I am not worthy Lord to go to heaven, but the bible says!!!! So, if anyone reading this realizes that you have a need for God in your life let me testify. If boredom is your problem, after salvation your life will change in ways you never dreamed possible. Christ is not calling you to the high easy road, the high life, worldy riches ( some of you have had that--did it make you happy ? did wild living and wild parties make you happy ? Christ is in many ways calling you to take up your cross and follow him. But along the way He feeds, He provides, He builds up, He makes healthy, He makes you "lean", ready , strong in Him, anxious to follow Him where He leads, ready to conquer mountains, SOMEBODY OUT THERE, you have been thinking about your salvation for years. Today is the day. Get down on your knees and pray right now, you won't be sorry, it will be the best, smartest, wisest,thing you have ever done. If you need help, we are ready to help you, but you can do this on your own, just you and God, Christ paid the price, make it right with God, Now !!
