I disagree with you
being one strike out and 3 months out
the stock shouldnt go up over 1 1/2 point from where I bought and the option go down in value...

unless they heavily jacked the premium due to the announcement

i WATCHED it happen
on PG
and earnings had nothing to do with PG

has BK even reported yet?
there is no press release on their website
I am emailing them and asking when their report is due

it is much the same as what you see holding over an earnings announcement

the stock can go up
but your option can go down...

and I believe in this case it was due to loss of momentum...and that is why the premium was stripped..as it was last year with PG

this is the problem in doing a split play...
and people need to understand this when formulating their strategy
