I know you make a living off of this! In order for you to pay the 'bill's you have to 'buy' and 'sell' stocks to generate commissions, whether 'directly' as a 'broker' or 'indirectly' as an 'advisor'. If you just recommended 'buy and hold', there would not be much for paying the 'bills'!

An Idea might be to 'buy and hold' a bunch of DELL, MSFT and other 'long term performers' and then you could 'play' with a bit of your investors money in your favorites, whether it is AMD, CPQ, EVI, and if they make a little. 'great', if they lose a little, the 'longs' will still make the portfolio look pretty good!
