jbn3, Thanks...I've been all through the website and many other obvious places..... Can't seem to find a breakdown of laptops vs. desktops. I think the information is available through those paid research report services.....but I thought someone lurking here might have already done the DD and know...and be able to help. I follow a little company that just got signed up as the hard shelled protective carrying case supplier for Dell laptops....so I'm trying to figure out the size of the Dell laptop market...... laptop sales growth rate....and so on. I'll check with my broker if nobody on this thread can help. In light of the commissions I pay....he should be able to track down the info......gratus. Thanks again bg

OT A major "thank you" to Bachman for his organization of the recent Dellheads meeting! Great job and thank you for your selflessness! It was really great to meet all of you (personally)....to meet the legends Kemble and Sig.......Is it true that Kemble took a supervisory job at the Factory Outlet? (just kidding).........it was great fun and fellowship.............Man, do we have some personalities in our group! More people out there should join our little cult <gg>..Rose Betty- thanks for the ride and your hospitality.....Am still on my trip.....look forward to posting my (extended) thoughts on Dell once I get back home, but needless to say I am still very much in the bullish camp and excited about the future of this stock (and company).....Hope you all got home safely...
