I watched this option

it had nothing to do with options expiration on a October option

NOT WITHIN A DAY OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT

it had to do with loss of momentum on a news related surge that accompanied a surge in premium

and people need to understand that if the are going to play a split

if the surge had continued they wouldnt have stripped the premium

<When you buy out of the money, that happens
everytime.. The first 1-2 points, you are flat to up a little..>

not one strike out and not 1 1/2 point move in the stock

and if this happens to you everytime

then you are definitely trading different stocks than I am

example
...buy PFE on Friday
one strike out on PFE about 4 1/2 points out of the money when bought

today
option up 11/16
stock up 1 7/8

this is the type of trading I am doing (except I screwed up and bought the wrong strike on PFE)

2 of these kinds of trades a day give me a grand a day

but two of those same kind of split plays dont give me *&^% and tie up capital that cant be margined to buy something else
