ADI's warning this morning surprised me, not because they warned but the reason. I have a small position in ADI which I intend to hold long term, so I don't pay full attention to it.

I didn't even know (shame on me) that ATE is a large enough component of ADI's business to warrant a warning. Speaking of HWP, I thought HWP is a big player in ATE aside from TER. Also somewhat related to HWP, Lexmark reported great earnings today. The question is whether the printer business is so strong or is Lexmark eating HWP's lunch?

So this ADI/ATE and Lexmark news could be both bad for HWP. As expected, HWP stock price is taking off. This further validates my theory of throwing away all logic and buy AMZN instead. (I wish I have followed my off the wall idea.) :-(
