There is a new mgr for the IR dept and when I asked her today about Portico service in my area of the country she said that info would be on their web site in a few days.

Does anyone know the current status of speech to text technology? As I understand it Portico currently receives one's verbal response to a message and sends a .wav file back to the original sender with the audio response. Sounds great but is the .wav file a barrier to communication in that it requires special software and/or time? Speech to text would probably be better than a .wav file but is implementation of such technology a ways off?
