The thing I was worried about was the announcement stating that there was a direct pipeline to the Davis rig(s). The inference here is that they might not need the land. That's why clarification on the geography was needed; in my mind at least.

And if I recall....EDII has the only access to this property..and they're going to want it REAL bad...just in case they're going to start a producing field out of this find...which would be the natural course of action...oil and gas is not trapped in ONE particular spot..

Typically when a horizon is tapped into, it can produce the oil and gas reserves from surround subsurface areas....however, don't forget that subsurface strata is very unpredictable....a seam in a rock horizon might not exist 5 feet away...so I would imagine, for future prospects....Marvin Davis will want to get their hands on that parcel of property REAL BAD
