I sold off my small position I re-established Friday at 19 1/8. I don't like the article on the new Chinese VCD format. I wished I had seen that earlier so I could have sold around 19 today. Essentially, I think CUBE was shafted by the government. They are using everyone's spec but CUBE's. They have the Sony consortium's proposal as a baseline and then they are integrating elements of the govt+ESST standards as well. The only proposal they didn't draw from was the China VCD standard of CUBE, and CUBE has been working in China the longest of any of those contenders! :( Until I get an idea of how difficult it will be to retool to the new specs, I'm out.
