Getgo, Thanks for the lsi summary from IR. Unfortunately, it supports everything i have been saying for months. The fact that they think LSI is performing inline with the sox is a joke. I don't know who does their stats but it must be jocko that is for sure. In addition, why the hell would they benchmark themselves against an index weighted so heavily with equipment makers and PC component manufacturers when they have been indicating that they are targetting the growth sectors of the semi market. That is lame.. Also, it is complete BS that they cannot talk about the symbios deal until it has been approved. They can't give specific information relating to symbios business but they can certainly address the analysts concerns which are macro in nature (strategic fit, falling ASP's, leverage, etc). Most importantly your call shows that they simply do not care about shareholders because their perspective is that everything is alright during a period when things clearly are not alright. If the second half really is not going to be as good as believed just 3 months ago, they should have been telling people about that long ago not waiting for the conf call. This is what they did in Oct 1997 and look where it got them.
