Inge, start with a minimum bid as soon as the auction opens. After that you can raise it and beat later people at the same price with your priority.
Say it starts at $10, so you bid and then it goes to $300 and all items are sold at $300 and a new high bid would be $310, well you can up your bid to $300 and get ahead of someone who bid 300 before you due to your earlier first bid. If there is an array of bids, say from $190 to $300 taking all ten(?) items, you can bid $190, the same as the lowest winning bidder and bump him down one and take his place. Watch closely at the last minute as this goes on bigtime and the lower level oeften goes up quite a bit even if the top bid stays constant. Usually they will not close the auction until there have been no bids for 5 minutes, so mark down the close time and stay on screen until it closes. Try these
