Procreant, Paul, whoever,
Where can an investor look to see the day's transactions? How is it "known" those were employee shares this morning? I for one want to know if Novell employees are all selling their stock - as it might be an indication of their belief in the company from an insider's perspective.

With the release of Netware 5 coming soon and all the mindshare that Novell is currently regaining, why would an employee pop their stock options now? I can think of only three reasons:

1. Employee is leaving the company and wants to cash in first.
2. Based on knowledge from inside the company, the price of the stock will go down...OR
3. Employee is an idiot and wants to get rid of no-risk options with nothing but upside (Unfortunately I don't believe this one.)

Any ideas folks? I have also heard that today was the exercise day for employee options.

(Paul- I tried to tell you this on Friday, but as a trial member here I am only allowed three posts per day and had exceeded my limit)
