FWIW, waiting to buy msft was not an effective strategy for me. I watched it defy gravity for over a year before I gave up on waiting for a dip and bought in at an all time high. In the ensuing 19 months the value of my investment has gone up 140%. If you like the fundamentals of Microsoft, their management, and the markets they serve, don't try to time it; just go long for the long term! JMHO. Happy investing, Frank
