I for one would like to end this name game. The chances of compaq changing its name are miniscule at best, and I'm not partial to taking flights of fancy when my money, and my parents money, is on the table. A more worthwhile endeavour in my opinion is coming up with scenarios for the next 9 months (don't ask why nine, it just came to me) for and against the appreciation of cpq. Stated another way, what do we think needs to happen over the course of the next several months in order for compaq to provide us with a decent return on our investment? What occurences may hinder the increased profitability of the company's operations? How do I get rich? (you can ignore that last one, I already know the answer). Thoughts, comments, opinions?
