Frank, There is no way of knowing what the price and gain will be in the future. They have a good headstart on everyone else. If they can hold on to this lead we will all make a lot of money. Technology, computers and the internet are in their infancy. As far as the next 2 years, I think they will sell a lot of computers to people who want to upgrade their PC's to the new pentium chips that require a new motherboard; who want AGP graphics;faster 100mhz bus;USB;Firewire; Yk2 compliant bios;Speech recognition;video; etc. The internet is going to need a lot of DELL servers, storage devices, etc. As an internet stock, DELL has more potential than the stocks that are currently popular with the MO MO investors. . . Dell already has fantastic earnings from their internet site. If they allowed someone to advertise on their web site, that could provide another source of income. With plants in China, South America, & Europe that have only just begun...Well? As far as I can see, their growth is unlimited. We still need to keep our eye on things though. We never know what surprises may be in the future. That is why we hang on SI...to keep our finger on the pulse of this great company. I think you will find the Bulls on this tread are very positive and present very intelligent reasons for buying and holding this stock. The Bears, on the other hand, are negative, call people names, use poor language, can't spell, and come up with the most incredible reasons to sell. I'm sure if I took more time to think about it, I could come up with more reason to hold this baby. If you spend any time on this thread, you will soon have many reasons of your own. DELL is no hula hoop! JMHO TOO BAD DELL WAS MY WORSE STOCK TODAY!
