Note: This is not a criticism, but I think we owe it to each other offer advice. I get as pissed as you, and when I do I generally write myself a note card and place it by the computer to remind me "Don't get involved in emotional posting."

Calm down lady (I would have said "girl", but ...)! You can't really chastise others for responding to the bad shorts, and then do it yourself.

You have too much class and credibility with those who are rational to even address those in denial, or those who put forth out-and-out lies on this thread. Those who we can classify as "misinformed" are so by choice, since they have apparently not reviewed the research done for TAVA. We really can't take responsibility for those who won't help themselves.

These bozo's (CR, BW, Dr. S, or whoever) don't deserve your time!

But: How about a standard thread comment, something to the effect: "For those who have just read the previous post: Do your own Due Diligence, and please disregard unsupported hype to either the positive (long) or negative (short) side. Your DD can be done at: http/www (etc). Please take the time to get a true understanding of this stock and its potential before you place any capital at risk."
In other words, why don't we address the intended audience instead of responding to the vultures?

Cheryl, I would be happy to discuss / debate the likelihood of a recession due to Y2K. Unfortunately, most people are polarized on this issue ... but if you can point me to a thread where people do not respond like the following, I would be happy to participate:
exchange2000.com

BTW, the LA Times has a story today about Y2K and Dr. Yardeni: "Paul Revere or Chicken Little: Selling the Y2K Problem"
