I agree there is a shot for WEM. What is your take
on the other Sask. diamond play a hundred miles south
with De Beers. There is a big lack of news here and
it is hurting WEM. Conversely good news from WEM could
drive this play. What do you think?

You may get some short term action out of Sask., if in fact there is anything to report, but I doubt you'll get any significant movement. You must remember WEM still carries a significant weight of shares "hanging on" from the previous promo cycle. That should prove a significant resistance to substantial share movement.
Another thing to remember is that most of the principals are old hands, who would hardly squander a promotional effort on a stock play in the summer doldrums of a year old VSE bear market that has seen its index drop over 60% in value and volume. They knew when to promote, and that was in 1995 when the market was wild and the diamond plays hot, hot, hot! They may begin the cycle yet again, but the circumstances would have to be ripe (that is, if this tired old shell hasn't out lived its usefulness - like many other similarly priced VSE vehicles).
