Two of the prominent Wall Street Strategists updated their market projections today. Lehman strategist Jeff Applegate raised his weighting on stocks from 75% to 80% and forecast a 1250 target for the S&P 500, up from a prior target of 1200. The S&P Index closed at 1184. Similarly, Goldman strategist Abbey Cohen also bucked her S&P target to 1250 from 1200.
