I got the distinct impression from the story in the F.P. on Saturday that Debeers doesn't like to be anything but king of the hill. The eventuality of Canada producing 10.5% of the worlds diamonds without Debeers...I don't think so! Kick in another mine...well...the plot thickens alright! Forget Botswana et al. Oh Canada!!!!!
