From the PINC web page, I have extracted the following quote:

"Attracting veteran management members such as internationally respected Dr. John Kendall to its board. Dr. Kendall recently retired as Dean of Science at a major university, has written several books, over sixty papers and holds three patents on computer related technologies."

This seems very vague especially for a company trying to convince people of their competent management.

I don't make this observation to be negative. But I do find the excerpt strange. "At a major university". What University? "Has written several books". Anyone know the titles? "Holds three patents". Patents on what specifically?

Can someone tell me who this person is and why he is so distinguished?
Am I the only dumb one out their who doesn't know who this Dr. is?

Thanks.
