I was looking through the career section here in Toronto and noticed an ad from a local hospital looking for a Y2K project manager to oversee the entire project--put together a team, do an inventory, begin review of all software and embedded systems and equipment and the implement the plan--all within a 20 month contract.

This is really scary!

I noticed that Air Canada didn't print the regular update for employees on how their Y2K progress is going either. Very noticeably absent from the newsletter.

If you wish, you may download the pdf plugin from

adobe.com.

Just surf a bit and look for Adobe Acrobat Reader, download it into some location of your HD and then install it as a plugin to your plugin file. Thereafter your browser is automatically enabled to read pdf files. It is as simple as pie!
