I've read through or scanned over 300 posts on this thread. I have no position in CYGS now and I don't really have anything against Big Dog(though I have been burned on pennies enough to understand how the game is played). And I'm not here to bash anybody. I almost bought when it dipped near a buck a couple weeks ago. Other than Big Dog's fractured rendition of the technology this company is working on, there is precious little found anywhere else in the recent postings to describe in detail what it is this company does and why it's so hot. I find it very curious that it doesn't seem to matter much that Big Dog is no biologist and I haven't seen any other lab rats posting either. It's all about momentum, volume, charts, the Big News. Oh, yes. The Big News. How many times have we heard how the Big News is imminent, and how many times has it been delayed? Or when there is news, it's not a Bang, it's a big fat Whimper. So I have two things to say. Whatever it is that may be announced, it ain't gonna be a fait accompli. Hardly anything in the biotech world ever is. If it was, where are all the other PRs about how they have progressed along this arduus research path? So it'll be an announcement about what they are working on, or that they made a breakthrough in one of the many steps along the way to a finished product that's a long way off. It may be years before real success is achieved-and it may not be CYGS that achieves it. Remember ENMD? I guess that makes me sound like I'm looking for some beef here, while everyone else is just going with the flow. Oh, well. The other thing is, momentum is tantalizing, undeniably sexy and very satisfying to some. Unfortunately, that's also the problem. The market is a zero-sum game. For every winner, there's a loser. The money you make today came out of someone else's pocket. Everyone cannot be a winner. Don't delude yourselves into thinking otherwise. So whatever they announce, and however high it spikes, it'll only be there for a minute, and then we'll be able to count the losers along with the winners. Best of luck to all.
