Hi, Luc has a point, even though it is not the whole story. Yes, the MMS are making the rules, getting the low sell and selling back to buyers at a higher price. However, they do not control the general drift, only the spread. As time goes without positive factual news, more investors are ready to part with their shares at low prices, and less buyers are ready to pick them up much higher. Luc's prediction that the price will continue to drift lower as time goes only makes sense. It happens all the time when uncertainty increases and confidence erodes. Right now, the only thing positive about GE is that they may have the gold, but for a lot of people, SEC questioning Guido's report casts serious doubt about that. Nobody could question the presence of some gold there, given the history of the place, but if it does not amount to proven reserves (economically recoverable), it might has well not be in the ground.
Some people believe it (that is why there are buyers) and some don't (that is why there are sellers).
The drift will continue. If the gold is there and can be mined at a profit, the stock will move up in due time. If it is not there, given the fact that the company has very few if any assets, the stock will crash to $0.00.
Any move up or down until the whole facts are known matters only to people who play the short term game.
I am in for the big bang or the big crunch, so whether it moves up to $1.50 or goes down to $.05 while waiting for significant news does not matter to me.
It is very easy to understand negative comments, when we have no financial reports and official bodies (deemed competent by most people, whether it is warranted or not) put the company under a microscope. It may be unpleasant to hear, but we have nothing but faith to counter it, and that in my mind is very weak.
Trying to remain objective while hoping for great news soon
Michel
