Because they recently (Nov 1997) did a secondary stock offering. In the meantime, cash flows have been fairly good. In addition, there is about a $26M "float" in deferred revenues. With that, they still have a lot of cash laying around to weather the storm.

Let's hope the money is spent wisely.
