Larry: I agree with you somewhat. The management of Cube is very suspect. The Insiders have a short history of selling whenever the share price pops to the upside a bit. The PR department is a disgrace! Cube's management has no common business sense. From an investment standpoint, I think it is a mistake to get mesmerized by the innovative technology. There is something very wrong here. That is why I sold my stake at the open today and made a few pennies. C-Cube should be sold to a company that knows how to run and operate a business.

Ligos still touting its software MPEG-2 encoders................

Optimized GoMotion Codecs Deliver Breakthrough MPEG-2
Software-Only Encoding With Resolution From SIF to D1

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 1998--

Ligos Technology Announces Breakthroughs in Quality and Scalability, Bringing Digital Video to the Desktop

Ligos Technology, developers of award-winning multimedia software solutions, announces further breakthroughs in their
GoMotion(TM) software-only MPEG-2 codecs in terms of scalability and quality.

GoMotion is capable of delivering high-quality real-time MPEG-2 encoding at resolutions ranging from SIF (352x240) on a
Pentium(R) II 266MHz processor, to D1 (CCIR601) broadcast-quality resolution on dual-processor Xeon(R) workstations
via future multi-threaded versions.

"The technological advances we are making in real-time MPEG-2 encoding show the scalability and efficiency of our
revolutionary GoMotion codec and reaffirm Ligos Technology's leadership in delivering real-time MPEG-2 enabling
technologies," said Peter Forman, president and CEO of Ligos Technology.

"Only one week after we demonstrated the feasibility of real-time high quality video in software on standard Pentium II
processors, we have exponentially improved the resolution and are approaching broadcast-quality through optimization of the
GoMotion codec."

"It is only a matter of time before broadcast-quality MPEG-2 is available on the desktop," said Richard Cowart, vice
president of engineering, Ligos Technology. "The advancements we are making will continue to drive digital video technology,
while lowering the cost with software solutions to traditional hardware processes, without sacrificing quality."
