Earlie. Thanks for the post. I think Apple will be a great put candidate after another 50% run-up going into September. Da Bulls will want to ride the back-to-school buying hype and run the stock up to ridiculous heights. Maybe I'll buy Calls. <G>

You've probably seen the article below on CNET about the slump in the chip industry but I wanted to post it here because it actually contains reasonable and "honest" comments from analysts. I was shocked but then again they probably have sold out of their positions. <g>

Earlie, Today's move in IBM has me thinking that not all investors are brilliant. -g-

Compaq is a disaster that has already happened and the market has only recognized the tip of that iceberg.

Apple still has me puzzled and I haven't done my homework, yet, so no comment other than that I am suspicious.
