Eric, re: "Did you look at the 87 and 90 action? Those who followed the signals where covered both ways. Go to the Library and see what the magazines were saying in Nov of 87 when the NYSEBP reversed up. Look at the ride those who were on board got. Check it against the sector bullish % Indexes of the same time. (I was a happy long term value investor at the time. Ugh!) I don't need to go to the library. I was a "long-term value investor" also. And turned to a no-confidence chicken investor real fast <g>. Problem is, I repeated the same mistakes this year, shortly before I found P&F, Jan, Bruce, Tom and all :-( But now I've seen the light!!!!
