Health Hazards: The health effects of this product have not been established, but components are thought to be only mildly to moderately hazardous.
Acute Effects ( Short Term): May cause burns or irritate skin, eyes, nose and throat. May cause damage to mucous membranes. May cause blurred vision. Harmful if swallowed. Eye contact may cause watering of eyes and inflammation of conjunctiva as well as irritation of lids.
Chronic Effects ( Long Term): Prolonged or repeated contact with skin causes redness, swelling and cracking.
Routes of Entry: Can be absorbed by ingestion, through the skin and respiratory tract.
Signs & Symptoms of Exposure:
Eye: Eye contact may cause irritation of the conjunctiva, discomfort, tearing and blurring of vision.
Skin: Skin contact may cause irritation ( reddening, swelling, rash, scaling or blistering) or dermatitis.
Inhalation: Inhalation of vapors and mists may cause damage to mucus membranes and irritation of the upper respiratory passages with coughing and discomfort, slowness, drowsiness and nausea.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Overexposure to dibasic esters could aggravate some symptoms of pre-existing eye disease as well as blurred vision per the manufacturer of dibasic esters.
Safety Precautions: Avoid breathing vapors or mist. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Emergency First Aid Procedures
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing id difficult, give oxygen. Obtain emergency medical attention.
Eye Contact: Rinse with clean water for 15 minutes. Obtain emergency medical attention.
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with mild soap and water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation or rash develops or persists after area is washed.
Ingestion: If swallowed, give lukewarm water (pint) id completely conscious/alert. Never give anything by mouth to a person who is unconscious or convulsing. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING - Obtain emergency medical attention.

SECTION VII - SPILL or LEAK PROCEDURES
Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled: Remove all sources of heat, sparks, flame. impact, friction or electricity. Ventilate the spill area. Dike spill to prevent spill from spreading and to prevent entry into water or sewer system. Recover free liquids for reuse or reclamation. Soak up residual spilled material with suitable, non-reactive material, such as clay, sawdust, kitty litter, and or vermiculite. Collect absorbed material in suitable container for disposal. Flush spill area with a water spray.
Waste Disposal Method: Dispose of waste according to Federal. State and Local regulations.
Precautions to be Taken in handling & Storage: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation of vapors and mists. Keep container and vapors from this container away from heat, sparks and flame. Keep container closed.
Other Precautions: Containers should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated area away from flammable or oxidizing material and sources of heat or flame.
SECTION VIII - OCCUPATIONAL PROTECTIVE MEASURES
Respiratory Protection: A NIOSH/MSHA approved air purifying respirator with an organic vapor cartridge or canister may be used when airborne concentrations are expected to exceed exposure limits. Protection provided by air purifying respirators is limited. Use positive pressure air supplied respirators if exposure levels are not known or where air purifying respirators may not provide adequate protection.
Ventilation:
Local exhaust - As necessary to maintain exposure below limits.
Mechanical ( General) - The material should be handled in a well ventilated area. Use with adequate general ventilation.
Special: NA
Face/Eye Protection: Use of safety glasses, chemical goggles or a face shields is recommended.
Protective Gloves: Impervious gloves of natural latex, neoprene or butyl rubber is recommended.
Other Protective Clothing or Equipment: Wear impervious clothing, such as rubber gloves, rubber apron, coveralls and boots made of butyl rubber.
Work / Hygienic Practices: Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and dispose or wash before reuse.
