say the stock drops to $17. Who among us would buy more in volume? Who believes in LSI that much?

Were LSI to drop to $17 (and not on news of something like a catastrophic fire at Gresham, for example), I for one would be buying more. That would give me a chance to average down. LSI is a good company. The stock price never goes down for no reason at all, but the reason doesn't have to be a good one. Semiconductors, although they are going through a slump right now, are no doubt going to grow in importance in the economy for at least the next decade or two. LSI is as well-positioned as any to be part of this growth. And I intend to be a part of it, too. If some nervous idiot wants to sell me his shares at $17, I'll gladly take them.
