More competition for MSPG. This is a commodity market and MSPG will have its market share for sure, but $1 bil in market cap?? Lycos Unveils Internet Access At Special Rate Of $12.95/Mo Dow Jones Newswires WALTHAM, Mass. -- Lycos Inc. (LCOS) unveiled Internet access at an introductory rate of $12.95 a month. Powered by AT&T Corp.'s (T) WorldNet Service, Lycos Online is available immediately. In a press release Tuesday, the company said the upgraded online service offers new users 150 hours of Internet access a month at the trial price for the first three months. After the first three months, users will be charged $19.95 per month. Additional hours are 99 cents each. Lycos Online users will also have access to a toll-free help line or online assistance with billing or technical matters. Lycos provides online guides to the Internet's World Wide Web.
