I'll try to be brief. This is getting rather tiresome. The operative word here is "timely." Naxos could have waited for clarification from Ledoux before releasing the statement that would obviously have a devastating affect on the stock price. I am not saying the company should not release bad news. However, something as critical as this does not have to be hastily released, and particularly in the manner it was released. If the company could not get an expeditious response from Ledoux, then I agree that it would have no choice but to release what transpired. Unless the company knew in greater detail the reason for Ledoux's apparent action, however, I believe there was no need to rush the release of the information (except, of course, if the information was leaked out already).
