Hi Clark, I subscribed my Internet from an ISP. In my proxy setup I use "direct internet connection". When I clicked on the *.qpl file
to download. The content of the file is displayed on my screen instead of saving to disk. What did I do wrong. Thanks

Why aren't you using the internet downloader instead of your browser. If you have your own internet connection through an ISP, then you're not going through a firewall.

The procedure that you're trying to use is only needed if you're behind a firewall and the internet downloader doesn't work.

If you're really behind a firewall, then the results that you're describing are because your browser is treating the file as a text file. You have to add the qpl extension to the helper app definitions in your browser so the the file get saved to disk instead of displayed. Look at the .exe definition in the helper app section of your browser.

We can send the r1 instructions if necessary, they won't be quite correct because they are for the qp_view program which doesn't exist in r2.
