What is Mr. Sprauge serving on this board for? Doesn't he have his hands full already?

To all those interested---Response to email I sent to David Collins as follows:
David, this is Ron (REM55), I talked to you recently about S. Sprague meeting with some shareholders at Comdex. Since Kent Kappen is on vacation, I would like your response to this release I saw on Yahoo and your answer to 3 questions. The article appears on
yahoo.com
The article says--Computer Industry seeks hackproof PC. All the top names HWP,IBM, INTC, CPQ, MSFT are banding together to create a security "STANDARD" to protect data on the individual PC's and internet transactions between PC networks.
1.) Are you familiar with this coalitiion and are they familiar with WAVX?
2.) Will WAVX be considered as the "STANDARD"?
3.) If WAVX is chosen as the "STANDARD", would we know within the 30-60 day time period mentioned in the article?

Here is David's polite response FWIW.

Great questions Ron.

As you might imagine, there is little that we can say about this consortium at this time. As you know, we do have a relationship with IBM. We have not spoke of the other named companies in a any public forum and we"ll keep it that way until such time as there is material development (i.e. signed contracts, etc.). This is the appropriate disclosure standard.

Certainly what they are talking about sounds very much like what Wave is doing, particularly the specific i/o reference. We'll have to leave it there for the time being. Again, we promise to announce material developments as they become definitive; until that time, we'll have to leave things in the more generic place of "we are making headway with the OEM community and management is very confident in its prospects to secure an OEM relationship..."

Thanks for your support. Don't touch that dial.

Regards.

David Collins
