Is this the chile head thread? I got some simple, pedestrian, jalapenos, thai hots, and pablanos (ancho), plus some yellow and red bells for salads. Just put them in the ground (yeah I'm late, but they were containers plants and this is So Cal, so I have a long season). Last year I grew a bunch from a "hot" seed mix, but won't do that again because when I put the seedlings in the ground it was impossible to tell what they were going to be.
