FYI RE: Matagorda
In my conversations with Jim King at Canyon, I have discovered some interesting info re: the three existing wells at Matagorda. They were drilled in the 1980's by a company called GEO Southern. They were producing gas at the time they encountered problems with the bore sanding up. The estimated production to that point was 2 billion mcf gas. The sanding problems are attributed to improper and hasty installation, of which with todays technology, These problems are expected to be overcome by NTAH. Also these wells were drilled to the miosene (sp?) not the frio. The company will drill a new well to the frio where even larger payoffs are expected, but remember that the miocene level, which they will drill through, is like an insurance policy for this well. If (and I believe this is a BIG IF) the frio is unsuccessful, then the well can still drop back and produce from the miocene as Ntah plans to eventually drill this level anyway. DON'T LOOSE SIGHT OF THE STRIPPER WELL TECHNOLOGY as it may develop a little slower but will probably be more profitable for ntah over the long haul. This is strictly my opinion and the information that I shared about the existing wells was not confirmed by me as it would not change my opinion of ntah either way. I recommend you do your own DD and maybe I provided something you may want to follow up on.

You people with no bones to pick, skip to the next message.

Yes Ellen, and when you start accusing someone of libel without being able to back it up, YOU are committing libel. You should look at the post I made a week or so ago regarding the folks that were accusing John Fiorentino for his "alledged" hype regarding NTAH:

exchange2000.com

You are doing the same thing, but with more serious implications. And, I might add, you have not ONE SHRED OF PROOF!

POTENTIALLY LIBELOUS?

HOW'S THIS:

I THINK THAT NTAH'S MANAGEMENT HAS IT'S HEAD IN THE SAND REGARDING ITS (SMALL?) INVESTORS, BY NOT MAKING PUBLIC THE SUCCESS, FAILURE, OR EVEN THE INTERMEDIATE STEPS OF ITS JOINT VENTURE NEGOTIATIONS REGARDING MATAGORDA! BY SITTING ON THE CURRENT STATUS OF THESE NEGOTIATIONS, AND NOT BEING ABLE TO COMMIT TO THE SUCCESS OF THEM, IT'S OBVIOUS THAT NOT ALL THE NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS OF A JOINT VENTURE DEAL WITH A LARGE JV PARTNER HAVE BEEN MET! CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON WITH MATAGORDA? FINANCING, WHO'S GOING TO GET WHAT PERCENTAGE OF REVENUE OF THE PRODUCED GAS, THAT "DEBENTURE" WORD THING, HOW MANY SHARES ARE BEING OPTIONED OUT TO THE POSSIBLE JV PARTNER ARE IMPORTANT ISSUES THAT ARE KEY IN THE NEGOTIATIONS, BUT CAN ANYONE TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT IT? THE OBVIOUS ANSWER IS NO! I'VE TALKED WITH CANYON TWICE IN THE LAST THREE MONTHS, BUT HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE HERE HAS BEEN ABLE TO REPORT, OR CONFIRM.

Yeah, this is the real world and is how things work.... but the above shows how I "FEEL". First key word in the above is "Think". Libelous? I think not!

I only hope, now that I am averaged in at about thirty odd cents or so per share, (and can't afford anymore now, even at these prices), that what I'm reading regarding "NEWS THIS WEEK" (again... and again... ad-nauseum), really does come through.

I am particularly aggravated about the stock price simply because it's tied up too much of my money for investment elsewhere. Yeah, I like everyone else would love to make a quick buck, but I'm not a day trader and don't have the stomach/savy for it... but I do have the ability to stay long on NTAH a bit longer and not sell the company short, (no pun intended). I just wish results really would come through soon.

As far as the "drilling in August" theory goes, that's exactly what YOYO had pm'd me (her estimate) a couple of months ago, and I've been able to live with it... So, I'm going to hold out a little while longer..

So Ellen, if you're going to keep a fight going on with a poster here because of past experiences, then keep it private. I'm tired of seeing BS retorts that absolutely make no sense, and have no connection to the subject that was posted. I especially am tired of someone making a post with the follow up being the INVESTOR RELATIONS PHONE NUMBER! ("Anyone"s favorite ploy to get DD and CLP off the thread) And the original post had nothing to do with it!

BELIEVE IT OR NOT, IT'S TACTICS LIKE THIS THAT MAKE THIS THREAD NEGATIVE!

AND THAT AIN'T LIBEL!

By the way, you said:
"As far as CL, I sincerely think that should be obvious. If he is a shareholder, why on earth would he purposely choose to interpret almost any little thing as "bad" or "negative"? And as often as he does? That makes no sense to me."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Should be obvious???? As often as he does??? Just go back through this thread (Start at about #600 or so) and try to back that up! Come on now, post the links to his reply #'s. I think you need to look at your own PERSONAL MOTIVES for this unjustified character assassination.

AND YES GOOOOOO NTAHHHHHHHHH!
