Maybe the "forgetting" about August is on purpose so that the lemmings remain focused on the wrong ball?

HI Donald; About last year they do focus on OCT, but the Blue Chips
started pulling back as early as late July just before the big drop
in OCT the Small Caps went on a tear, with a strong late Rally,
The Small Caps did peak in OCT, and they are just now getting back to the pre sell off level.
----------------------------
I would expect a run in them before any big correction. But that
don't mean we will get it.
Jim

Donald; Here is a couple of urls I look at every day, sometimes
more than once.
quote.yahoo.com
my main focus on the above is the Wilshire 5000, index..it seems
to indicate a better broad market sentiment than the others,
while it's not always right; it is right often enough that I don't go against it.
---------------
quote.yahoo.com
I like this for both the A/D of the different indexes,
as well as the up/down volume.
Note
CUT the NASDAQ volume in half, if you want to average them
as stocks in that index trade twice via market makers..
also keep in mind MMs are not going to sell stocks cheaper
than they buy them , so if it's an up ratio cut that in half,
and if it's a down ratio double it. ( Nasdaq only )
---------------
They don't tell you taht, but just think about it.
Jim
