Good morning Yaacov, or I should say good evening. I guess you are happy with IBM today? Intel and Dell are not doing too bad either and CPQ was over 34 earlier on. I am not sure if Dell will take a fall. M. Dell is still gang ho on his company. He kind of broadly hinted that very good things are still ahead. Yes, Intel will be alright. Even in those hard times they can't complain about the income. And like I mentioned in prev. posts they have nice stakes in well to do companies. This alone does not hurt either. Maybe if they become a Berkshire H. they will not even need Microprocessors or the networking business. Just kidding. I am being crushed by Merck so far, and I exited some, but LU is making up for it. I did not see LU in your portfolio. Do you own it? I have been carrying on about it. It is touted as another Msft. That would be great and I sure hope that the earnings come in well. I don't need another Merck. gg. There is talk about another split in case you want to look into it. I am catching myself talking about LU a lot. Wow, how can you help it. There is a down turn forecasted by Jerry Favors, a technical analyst, in the next cpl of days. Let's hope it does not come about. No matter how good a company is, it probably would go down with the rest. I am listening halfway to Mr. Greenspan. The nerve of him. gg. He is supposed to talk about a rate cut and here he talks about the FED standing ready for a rate rise if necessary. Same old schmaltz about possible wage pressure, Asia etc. etc. I guess he does not like the forecast of DOW 10.000. I always like to listen to one of our economists, Larry Cutlov. The FED and the Congress should listen to him more often. He is for a rate cut and tax cut. Sounds like my kind of guy. gg. Have a nice trip. I read that you all got it pretty hot there. We have in the high 90's but with the humidity it's supposed to feel like 115, orig. the forecast was like 117, Fahrenheit of course. Well, I stay as much as possible in air condition, so let it get hot. Sonny
