They can only get an a clarification if they are actually given one by LeDoux. One of the reasons that Fred was brought back on was that he
purportedly has a great relationship with Paul Blumberg. It has only been a few days, so I am sure that Fred will need a little more time before he can leverage that relationship into some sort of an explanation.

The release is not a Ledoux release but a Naxos one. We don't know exactly what was told by Ledoux to whomever they told at Naxos. One of the bothersome things about the Naxos release is its ambiguity. It left a lot open to speculation. Heck, some have even extrapolated that the "problem" Ledoux was referring to was not its own but rather the check labs. Maybe the release was cleverly written in an ambiguous way in order to give it that possibility. I doubt it, though.
