PRI's operating loss is a little worse than expected, (0.16); I/B/E/S had an estimate of (0.14). BILLERICA, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 1998--PRI Automation Inc. (NASDAQ:PRIA), a leading supplier of factory automation systems to the semiconductor industry, today reported financial results for the third quarter of fiscal 1998. Revenue for the quarter was $38.3 million, compared with $56.2 million for the third quarter of fiscal 1997, a decline of 31.8%. Excluding special charges, the company reported a net loss of $3.2 million, or ($0.16) per share on a diluted basis.
