Very well said, Brad. You saved me some time. The only thing I want to add is that Tunica's statement that Prozac "has only produced a whole bunch of doped folks walking around like zombies no better perhaps than their previous depressed state" is a continuation of ill-informed, and irresponsible (if he is indeed a medical professional as claimed) off-topic invective. I will not violate the spirit of this thread any further by responding to these kinds of posts in public. Will the rest of the thread do the same? Poet

<< off-topic invective>> poet has taken your lead, but tell me : would we welcome on topic invective? i would echo the remarks of BigKNY. it does little good to dignify remarks unworthy of attention...you may have saved poet time, ( the road to hell....) but the final effect? i could get into specifics as to the pharmocological expertise of some psychiatrists, as there are those who specialize in precisely such synergistic treatments... meds+interactive therapy....but truly, what is the point? consider the agenda, the predispositon of your intended listener.... some simply crave attention, and once it is removed, they lose interest. remove the spotlight, the ponitifcator disappears... with best regards, randy
