Earlie. I noticed you used the word deflation in your post and today Greenspan was using the word inflation. (I don't think greenie was talking about asset inflation. <G>)

Do you think we will see "deflation" in the hard goods tech sector due to the Asian crisis and oversupply yet see inflation in other parts of the economy? The drop in PC prices and components seems a typical trend in the later stages of a commodity product.

I think Wall Street just needed a reason to sell and take profits today. But this Tulip mania over IBM's results today was absolutely sickening.
