Do some backround check...You can find the pattern quarter after quarter. The stock makes new highs just before earnings announcement and pulls back after. Old wall st. theory, "buy the rumor,sell the news". Then sets new highs again the next quarter. If your long-term, its a wealth builder like no other.

Based on your opinions are you short the stock? If not, you have zero credibility. If you are, then I respect your convictions.

msft did its "flying" before earnings. IBM after. So what's the difference??

Toy, I wholeheartedly agree. IBM is definitely manipulating earnings.
