Re: the S-3/A filed by Micron.

My take is that this transfer of shares from Simplot Co to the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has following impact.

1. If CIBC puts up shares for sale, it will increase the float by 7,600,000 shares. Or is the float increased right away since the Canadian Co is not an insider?

2. The Canadian Co.can pay commissions to brokers and others to sell the stock in the market, giving brokers an incentive to push/keep MU's price up.
