Post says U.S. deal helps build presence

InfoInterActive Inc IIA
The Financial Post reports in its Tuesday edition that a Halifax-based company offering a unique Internet call-waiting system has signed on with a U.S. telecommunications firm to help sell its service in the U.S. Reporter Peter Morton says that for interActive says that Bell Communications Research of Morristown, New Jersey, will help the fledgling high-tech company distribute its Internet Call Manager in the U.S. InfoInterActive
also says it is close to signing a deal with an unnamed regional U.S. telephone company in offering its service to customers. Last May, InfoInterActive signed a distribution agreement with Cincinnati Bell. Vice-president Michael Smith says the deal with Bell Communications, a subsidiary of Science Applications international, will give it the depth and knowledge it needs to expand into the U.S. market. He says his company had a choice of either growing itself or finding a new partner.

Phil: Boy, you're not kidding! We have a lot to be thankful for up here in Canada but the treatment of up and coming, growing prospects like IIA suffers because of our cautious, conservative, approach to investing. That too, has its benefits but it sure keeps the price down. Our American friends, on the other hand, really embrace a stock like IIA in the US markets, and if anything, go overboard in driving the price skyward, but it sure is nice if you are in long!
Have't seen the FP article but will look for it. Am looking forward to IIA's 1/4ly report, due soon, to see the growth rate in ICM customers .

Cheers,

Don
