It just keeps getting better!! This week BEA got COM support for M3, Top End ports to non-NCR platforms, a Tuxedo/Top End gateway, interfaces to IBM MQ Series and MVS, additional sales and consulting, the master Top End distributorship and more OMG CORBA asynchronous transaction/queuing products. BEA has rapidly established a domain in middleware rivaling that of Computer Associates in system management tools. Both BEA and CA did this through acquisition, and both have been very successful. So why are we down 12% from yesterday? Does anyone in the analyst or institutional investment community have a clue what a trick these guys have pulled off, or what middleware is for that matter? Get with it or miss the bus. The BIG wide area deployed applications DON'T WORK WITHOUT THIS STUFF. By the way Dain, hope to see you very embarrassed to release your 'non news' in about four weeks. This isn't an immature sales organization and they won't blow their quarter.
