MOT to settle on NT? via MacOSDaily >This corporate behavior is bizarre. It's like if Chrysler were to buy a fleet of Fords for company vehicles. Why Motorola would do this, especially now when the Macintosh has clear hardware as well as software superiority over the PC Windows platform, defies logic and common sense. Since I am not privy to what happens in Motorola's boardrooms, I can only speculate on the reason (or lack of) behind this egregious policy decision, so here are a couple of hypotheses.< macosdaily.com Compelling and bizarre. This reminds me of the Intuit/Quicken story but in a much bigger way. I think Jobs needs to "Get in their face" big-time on this. I'd offer to underwrite MOT's tech support for the their discontinued clones and do everything possible to supplant their NT efforts with a Rhadsody/OSX/iMac/eMac, etc. initiative.
